About us

ISAJO is an international, volunteer-driven organisation dedicated to protecting human rights, promoting personal freedom, and supporting individuals and communities affected by coercive, abusive, or manipulative groups. Our mission is simple: to help people live freely, safely, and with dignity—no matter where they are in the world.

We bring together researchers, survivors, advocates, sociologists, data specialists, and community volunteers from across the globe. Our work combines evidence-based research, education, safeguarding practice, and direct support to empower people to recognise, prevent, and challenge systematic abuse—whether in cults, high-control organisations, extremist social dynamics, or other coercive environments.

At ISAJO, we believe that positive change is created through understanding and connection. We partner with academics, NGOs, community leaders, and specialist organisations to share knowledge, improve public awareness, and build safer environments for all. Our volunteers contribute not only their time but their compassion, cultural insight, and professional expertise.

We are committed to transparency, ethical practice, and the highest safeguarding standards. Every person who engages with us—whether for support, learning, or collaboration—should feel safe, respected, and empowered.

ISAJO exists to protect freedom, elevate voices, and help individuals reclaim their stories. Together, we work for a world where people are fee, free to speak their minds, and free to thrive, follow their heart, and care for their loved ones.
